Welcome, weary friend.

Here you’ll find daily encouragement rooted in scripture, sprinkled with grace, and gathered like daisies in a field—one petal at a time.

Why daisies?

Daisies are simple, cheerful, and resilient.
They don’t bloom loudly, but they show up in unexpected places—like joy in hard seasons. That’s what Do Not Grow Weary is about: trusting God to grow something beautiful, even when life feels dry. I chose daisies because they reflect the kind of encouragement I want to offer—gentle, honest, rooted in truth, and always pointing toward hope.

About Me 🙂

Hi, I’m Christa — a devotional writer, encourager at heart, and believer in the quiet strength God gives us when we’re worn out and wondering if it’s all worth it. I live in Caledonia, Michigan with my husband, a lively crew of pets, and a deep desire to walk alongside others in their faith journey. I’m a mom of four grown children and recently became a grandma — a title I cherish. After years of juggling work, family, and ministry, I found myself clinging to one verse: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). That verse became a lifeline — and eventually, the heartbeat of my first devotional. Through Do Not Grow Weary, I hope to offer simple, scripture-rooted encouragement for those who are tired, discouraged, or just trying to keep going. Whether you’re walking through a hard season or just need a reminder that your faithfulness matters, this space is for you. Thanks for stopping by. I’m so glad you’re here.
